The Eyes, Ears, Horns and Wings of BronyCon 2013: Ponyville Live! is taking a unique approach to our coverage of this year’s BronyCon in Baltimore, MD from August 2-4, 2013: we’re working directly with the panelists and event hosts to record specific panels per request!
Why are we doing this? Because we know there are so many panels that not every panel will be recorded or streamed, and we want to make sure the panelists that want a record of their panel can get one.
Here’s how it works:
Send an e-mail to requests@ponyvillelive.com with the name of your panel, its scheduled date, time, and room, along with your name and e-mail address.
We’ll send our crew out to cover your panel and record it in full. (Keep in mind that some rooms have different audio setups, so we may not always have “line audio”, but we’ll always strive for the absolute highest quality audio possible.)
After the event concludes, our team will travel back home and compile all of the footage into nicely packaged HD MP4 files.
We’ll offer you one of two ways to receive your footage: either we can e-mail it directly to you for your own personal use, or we can upload it to the Ponyville Live! YouTube account and send you the link to post around the web. Naturally, we prefer the latter option, but we know that not every panel wants to be up on the web, and we want to respect your rights as panelists.
We are providing these services completely free of charge to as many panelists as we possibly can. If the unlikely event occurs that there are simply too many requests taking place at the exact same time, we’ll handle requests on a first-come, first-served basis, also making sure to prioritize panels that we know won’t be streamed on other networks.
We look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s BronyCon, and we look forward to providing a high-quality service to the brony community! <3
